Hi, I’m Stephanie, and I’m so glad you’re here! Choosing to explore therapy is a brave step, and I want to create a space where you feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. My approach as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist is grounded in compassion, creativity, and collaboration because I believe therapy works best when we walk the path together.

I am a Limited License Practicing Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, and I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a focus on children, families, and adults. With experience working with diverse populations, I am passionate about guiding individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My expertise spans working with children, adolescents, and adults, striving to understand and support their unique needs. I am dedicated to helping individuals and families discover pathways to healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Utilizing a collaborative, strength-based approach, I empower clients to take charge of their well-being. I specialize in assisting those navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, stress management, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting challenges, ADHD coping strategies, workplace stress, burnout, identity development, emotional regulation, and more.

While my professional role is very important to me, I’m also a person outside of being a clinician. I love exploring new recipes in the kitchen, caring for my many plants (I’m a proud plant mom 🌿), and embracing creativity through painting🎨, crafting, and music. These hobbies keep me grounded, remind me to practice balance, and help me connect with the joy and playfulness of life.

In my professional journey📚, I’ve been especially influenced by Carl Rogers, for his belief in the transformative power of unconditional positive regard; Irvin Yalom, for his deep insights on connection and meaning; and Aaron Beck, for the practical strategies that cognitive therapy provides. Together, these perspectives shape my therapeutic style as one that is empathetic, human-centered, and solution-focused.

If you’re on the fence about therapy, 💬 I’d say this: it’s completely normal to feel unsure. Therapy isn’t about being “broken” it’s about creating a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, and to get support for life’s challenges. Even trying just one conversation can give you a sense of whether it feels right for you. 🌟Think of it like trying on a pair of shoes, sometimes you have to test the fit before you know.

In session, I bring empathy with a touch of humor, because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. I also bring active listening, so you feel truly heard and understood. And finally, I bring creativity and collaboration, helping us explore multiple options and possibilities instead of getting stuck on just one track. You are the expert on your life—I’m here to walk beside you as we uncover your strengths and build pathways toward growth.

I often carry this quote with me in my work and life:
“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.” – Zig Ziglar

I look forward to supporting you as you take your next steps toward growth and healing!
